In response to Universal Music Group’s invitation to interpret what it means to be Latine, I created a piece that explores identity through suggestive abstraction. I layered cultural motifs, native flora, and symbolic patterns rooted in Mexican visual traditions. The color palette draws direct inspiration from the vibrant hues of Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, evoking a sense of personal and collective memory. This work was later produced in CDMX as a limited-edition screenprint, released in a run of 100 prints.
